Welcome to pflynny.com, this is a temporary holding page as I decide what to do with this site.
Having this holding page will give me chance to play with new techniques; focusing on HTML5, CSS3 and improving my jQuery, I'm hoping to design and build the site with a natural evolution from things I discover.
A blog will be added to the site soon, this will document in detail what techniques I'm trying out, as well as mini reviews of some of the books I’ll be looking at.
pflynny.com is a creative space of web designer and front-end developer Paul Flynn (Moi).
I specialise in creating engaging and attractive interfaces, working with and pushing emerging technology. The websites I develop are built to (W3C) web standards & with the content optimised to be SEO (search engine optimised) friendly.
My day job is building the front-end of sites at the awesome Springload, who I've been working for as an integrator since November 2010. In my spare time I like to dabble in a bit of design and playing with new web development techniques.
Before Wellington I lived in Queenstown for nine months, getting the opportunity try my skills at snowboarding, while freelancing with local companies, namely Kelp Design.
While in the UK I worked for Code Computer Love and The Lift Agency, working at these companies gave me the opportunity to learn my trade and develop my skills, working with some extremely talented people, furthering the knowledge I'd gained studying Design and Art Direction at Manchester University.
NB; I do escape my computer … a lot, but everything on this site is focused on my involvement with web design.
As you may have guessed from the huge type in the next column, my name is Paul Flynn (pflynny), if you'd like to get in touch you can email me at email@example.com or call 021 0231 2478. As you may have read above, I work a day job for the amazing Springload so will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. Chur
There are certain features that I intend to add to this site, to keep track I've got this feature list.
